Wheel Stop, Parking Block, or Parking
Curb Anyone?
With products as specific as recycled rubber traffic control products, it can sometimes be difficult to know who may be in the market for such devices. Here are a few examples of types of customers that use these every day, or are looking for these types of items.
Pavement Maintenance – Any company that works with pavement maintenance has the potential to sell and/or install parking curbs and speed bumps. Many times they will bid an entire job, which may or may not include curbs and bumps.
Professional Markets – Architects and Engineers are a perfect group to utilize wheel stops, speed bumps and speed humps. Considering they are designing and drawing the plans for a building or complex, they have the option to add these in as part of the design. So by the time it gets to the contractor, the decision has already been made.
Government Agencies – Any government agency is a potential customer for recycled rubber speed bumps, humps or parking curbs. Many military bases have been known to add parking curbs and speed bumps to help reduce accidents. Also, some cities & towns will install these to help increase safety in neighborhoods throughout their area. In addition, Departments of Public Works or Park & Recreation may have the authority to install these types of devices. This includes state parks and recreational areas that may specifically be looking for recycled products.
Safety Industry – Like pavement maintenance companies, many safety supply companies, sign makers and highway safety companies may have the opportunity to quote and or sell parking blocks, bumps and humps as part of an entire job. This appeals to contractors and end users because they can provide the entire set of materials for a job. This will make them a convenient, one-stop-shop for those looking for materials.
End Users – Every day there are store owners, schools, churches, shopping malls and hospitals that experience trouble in their parking facilities. Recycled rubber traffic control products provide them with something that is not only innovative, but virtually maintenance free; and guaranteed for at least 3 years.
Transportation – These types of facilities experience such high volumes of traffic on a daily basis, they’re always in need of traffic control. Parking curbs, speed bumps and speed humps can all be useful in these chaotic conditions. These are prime locations where the addition of speed bumps and parking curbs can help reduce accidents, and increase safety.
